You push onto the edge of the Castilian meseta through open grain country with wide horizons. Plan for about 5 hours 40 minutes on tracks that can feel exposed under a hot sun.

Belorado is a modest town with basic services and several albergues. Wind picks up on the meseta - pack a light layer even in summer.
