The final day - about 5 hours through Galician forest and suburban Santiago to the cathedral plaza. Monte do Gozo offers a first glimpse of the city spires before the last descent into town.

Santiago de Compostela is the destination - the cathedral, the botafumeiro if you are lucky, and the emotion of finishing. Allow time to collect your compostela and simply sit in the square.
