A long approach to Burgos across open farmland, with the cathedral spires visible long before you reach the city edge. Plan for about 6 hours 30 minutes, including the urban walk to the historic centre.

Burgos is a major stop - cathedral, museums, and plenty of hotels beyond the albergue circuit. Many walkers take a rest day here before the flat meseta ahead.
