Stage 2

Mostly downhill from Roncesvalles through beech forest toward the Erro valley. Allow about 5 hours 20 minutes on well-marked paths that ease you into the rhythm of daily walking without the shock of day one.

Zubiri is a small riverside town with basic shops and albergues. A straightforward stage that leaves energy for the push into Pamplona tomorrow.
